Our name comes from one of the founding owner’s
ancestor, General Artemas Ward. General Ward planned
and fought the Battle of Bunker Hill. He passed
command of the Continental Army to General George
Washington in 1775 and served as second in command
until 1777. Artemas’ life after the Revolutionary
War included serving as President of The Executive
Council, twice elected to the House of Representatives
and Speaker of the Massachusetts House.
Artemas Industries was founded in 1985 and continues
to operate in the spirit of General Ward. Striving
to anticipate our customer’s needs and provide
interactive service until the desired results
are met.
Recently we moved into our new facilities, which
gave us some much needed room. The space was quickly
filled with some new machinery and we are looking
toward expansion in the future.
